3 More Sleeps

3 more sleeps…….

……till I jet off for 5 months.  I have a contract now, and a flight ticket, and a driver to meet me at the airport (which is definitely nice !), I have my toothpaste, my Middle East haircut and I’ve ordered my money.  I have a small jar of marmite for emergencies, the first aid box is filled with plasters, ibruprophin and Rennie.

The only things left to do now are to post the “Leaving the UK” form to the tax office, put in my “I’ve found a job” form with the Job Centre (thanks for next to sod all, by the way) and pack. 

What to pack is starting to form the basis of every discussion – which DVD’s, which books, should I actually pay my son for the PS2 I’m going to steal and take with me (to be fair he doesn’t use it any more and I did say I would………).  Will I need jeans (I can’t believe I will), have I got enough suitable work shirts ?  Two linen suits or one………the list of problems are endless – and I haven’t even got the suitcase out yet !

Just a quick one today as I have all these jobs to do and no photos to pad it out !  A special Tesco’s Finest meal for two for £10 tonight…….I know how to treat a girl !
